Sara Sikorski's Summer Bash • SetlistThe show went well, even better than expected some would say. Our first show had it's moments of ups and downs, starting when Sean's sister drove off and Sean forgot she had his bass in her car..oops. After that was resolved, the quintessential second mic that Bucko would use was missing, only to be found in the broken drum by Prof. Watson, who for some reason stuck his hand in it (who knows why, but it worked out...don't ask please). Luckily, the hazards were pretty much gone from there. A crowd of about 25 to 30 people watched Dispersion play their first gig ever. The opening song, excluding the Star Spangled Banner and Purple Haze (which wowed the crowd I must say), was Last Kiss, which went well except for that Jason's guitar was slightly out of tune, but that was fixed. Regardless, Jason played an excellent set and had a bunch of girls oogling over his skills for the next few hours. Highlights of the show according to some crowd members were Pearl Jam's "Nothingman", the Red Hot Chili Peppers's "Scar Tissue", and to the surprise of the band, "Too Old" by Dispersion. "They like it, Mikey," Sean was heard saying to a box of Kix™ cereal. The band is proud of their performance and hope to do it all again soon, and an extra special thanks goes out to Sara for setting it all up, it means a lot to the band, and we'll remember you when we're on MTV ;)
